One of our favorite Christmas traditions is to walk around and look at Christmas lights and decorations, so we thought it would be even more fun to make a scavenger hunt out of it!
Soooo….I created a free Christmas scavenger hunt printable just for you! We took our own copy and meandered through the neighborhood to see what we could find. My personal favorite was the Grinch stealing a string of lights off one house. Unfortunately, the Grinch isn’t on the scavenger hunt, so no bonus points for me on that one.
A couple of ideas for when and how to use this sheet:
- Take it along on your next walk through your neighborhood, downtown, or any place with Christmas decorations (so, basically everywhere right now).
- Work on finding the items collectively as a group or print one off for everyone and make it a game to see who can find them all first!
What are your favorite Christmas light traditions? Tell me about it in the comments!
And don’t forget to grab your free printable below!
PS – Know someone that would like this blog? Please forward it to them!
Hi I am a children s librarian. I would like to post some of the scavenger hunts on our library website since kids are at home. Do I have permission to do so?
Hi! Thanks for the comment! Yes, please just link to the post(s) with the different printables you’d like so people can download from our website 🙂
