Hobbit Party Games & Entertainment
Keep your hobbit party fun and immersive with these games and your guests will feel like they actually journeyed to Middle Earth!
- Ring Toss Game – Get it? Because rings…🤣🤣
- Axe Throwing – Feel just like a dwarf with this axe throwing kit!
- Riddles In The Dark – Go face to face with Gollum and see who comes out on top with this challenge.
- Elven Archery Challenge – Use a wooden bow and arrow set like this one for an authentic vibe and set up an archery area. Bonus for printing out pictures or orc faces and using those as targets!
- Don’t Wake the Dragon – Check out the rules of the game, but tweak it slightly so that part of the objective is to escape with the Arkenstone.
- Gandalf Says – Just like “Simon Says” but with a wizard twist. Consider commands such as, “Take the ring to Mordor and destroy it in the fires of Mt. Doom”, or “crawl around and say ‘my precious,'” or “march like you’re going to reclaim Erebor”….you get the picture. And obviously the facilitator has to be dressed as Gandalf!
- Cloak Relay Race – Race while wearing oversized hobbit cloaks.
- Spiderweb Wrapping Game – First, play the game Sharks and Minnows (but call it Spiders and Hobbits). Each time someone is tagged, they must get wrapped up in toilet paper, then become a spider for the next round (in place of becoming a minnow in the regular game). Do this until everyone has gotten a chance to be wrapped up and become a spider.
Fireworks, Gandalf, Fireworks! – If all else fails, set off some fireworks for entertainment! - Hobbit Scavenger Hunt – First, grab my free printable here! Gather items around your house to represent each item on your list, then hide them around your house or yard. Have party-goers search until they find each one!
